...the F.A.S.T. Rookie Standings Leader
F.A.S.T Rookie of the Year contender Cap Henry, driver of the Team CHR No. 04 Maxim 410 sprint car, recorded two top ten finishes during this weekend’s Kistler Racing Products F.A.S.T season opening weekend at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway on his way to fifth place in overall points standings.
Henry began the weekend strong at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio by beating Chad Kemenah and Brandon Wimmer to the line for the heat race victory and a strong ninth place finish in the Kistler Racing Products F.A.S.T points night one thirty-lap feature event. Cap’s teammate, Brian Smith, captured the victory.
Night number two of the F.A.S.T series at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio resulted in a seventh place finish in the feature for Henry, after having to qualify from the B-Main. “I’m really happy with the results from this weekend ...Things are turning around and looking great for our team.” said Cap in response to his promising finishes.

Cap Henry Records Season Best Finish Against All-Star Circuit of Champions
Eighteen year-old Cap Henry, driver of the Team CHR No. 04 Maxim 410 sprint car, heated up the ‘O’Reilly All-Star Circuit of Champions’ field at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio Saturday night in route to his best finish of the season. Henry bounced back from a frustrating run at Attica Raceway Park the previous weekend by qualifying for the feature ‘O’Reilly All-Star Circuit of Champions’ event Saturday night. Cap proved he could run competitively amongst the likes of high profile 410 Sprint Car drivers Dale Blaney, Chad Kemenah, Brooke Tatnell, Randy Hannagan, Daryn Pittman, and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Kasey Kahne. “It was a great weekend for Team CHR,” said Henry, who is running the 410 sprint car for the first time this season. “We finally got the car figured out. We proved that our team can run competitively with the O’Reilly All-Star Circuit of Champions.” Cap’s 13.277 qualifying lap was 31st best of the 52 drivers to take time, which earned him the eight starting spot in the Friendship Food Stores Heat Race 3. Henry overtook Sprint Car veteran Brooke Tatnell on the last lap of the 10-lap heat race for fifth place finish, the last and final transfer spot that guaranteed his 21st place starting position in the 40-lap ‘O’Reilly All-Star Circuit of Champions’ A-Main Feature. Henry made valuable laps as he worked his way through the field. He found himself racing against Kasey Kahne during the final circuits of the feature before eventually overtaking the NASCAR star to finish 17th of the 23 starters, respectively. Cap Henry will begin his hunt for the ‘Rookie of the Year’ honors this Saturday, April 18th at Fremont Speedway’s season opener in Fremont, Ohio.
