Cap Henry goes 5 out of 6 on heat race wins in 3 different classes
Cap Henry of Bellevue, Ohio continues his winning ways at the local level over the last weekend of July. The team ventured back to its roots at Fremont Raceway Park in Fremont, Ohio. It was a strong day for the ambitious driver as he elected to run three different classes in one day. What made the day even harder was that Cap's dad was down with a back injury and was unable to help out. Thanks to friends and teammates Mark & Cody Lein, and Seth and Stan Schneider the driver was able to have a very good day. Cap won both heat races in his 80cc shifter kart in the open road course class, as well as the feature. This was Cap's first return to the shifter kart seat since leaving the Snap on Stars of Karting's west coast series. Cap now leads this class in the points.

The second class of the weekend was the 4 cycle animal class which was a heated side by side affair through out both heat races with teammate and up and coming driver Cody Lein of Bowling Green, Ohio. The two put on some of the best racing of the day running side by side through some of the toughest sections of the track without taking each other out. Cap took both heat races wins, and led most of the feature only to have teammate Cody best him for the feature win. This should put the two in 2nd and 3rd respectively in the point's race in this class. Cap's third and final class of the day was the very tough Adult Stock Lites oval class. Cap started from the front and won his first heat race. He started at the tail in the second heat race and pulled off early with a mechanical failure, having him start 4th for the feature. The feature proved to be a tough event with the driver being knocked around a few times by a fellow competitor knocking him to the back of the field on two occasions. He eventually worked his way up to fourth position to finish the race that was won by fellow teammate Seth Schneider. Overall the team was very pleased with its weekend results. Keep and eye on Cap's web site www.caphenryracing,com, as it is very likely that Cap will debut a 305 Asphalt Winged Sprint Car with the help of Mintz Motorsports in the next few weeks at Sandusky Speedway.

Cap Henry withdraws from Stars
6 August 2005

King Taco 80cc junior driver Cap Henry was visibly absent from under the RBI Team tent at the Chilliwack BC Stars event. The young driver has retuned to the Midwest to concentrate on his short track racing. A decision that was perpetuated by a lack of solid sponsorship money, and consistent practice time in a shifter kart outside the Stars Events. Cap and his father Kit Henry sat down with Alan Rudolph and Paul Leary at the Reno event and studied Cap's kart data during the weekend. "It became apparent that we were struggling to run with the best with no funds for practicing between events, and a tightening budget to run our Midget program back home." "Unfortunately funding for young drivers in karting is harder, and harder to come by these days, and some of our promises did not come through." Kit said. Cap is a Rookie in the USAC Kenyon Midget division and has already won a heat race and finished in the top ten and top five in feature shows. He continues to run karts in the Ohio area and has racked up 4 wins and three top three finishes in his last 7 starts in three different classes. Cap and his Father would like to Thank the whole RBI organization for the opportunity and growing experience the Stars competion provided. We wish the team the best of luck for the rest of the season. We would also like to thank the Laps For Kids Organaztion for it's support. Keep and eye on Cap through his website caphenryracing.com
