Cap Henry Looks Forward To Weekend Competition

16-year-old looks to progress through sprint car ranks

Bellevue, Ohio – July 11, 2006 After a successful debut weekend of sprint car competition, Cap Henry and the Henry Motorsports Team will roll into Attica Raceway Park and Freemont Speedway over the July 14-15 weekend as the team will look to make the A main in only his second weekend of action.

The 16-year-old sophomore high school student will look to transfer into the A Main after last weekend’s racing action. As what can only be described as a “Learning Weekend or Experience Builder,” Cap raced with many of the A Main regulars at both speedways. The young gun showed the speed to be up front but was relegated down the running order after being pushed wide off the start in Friday’s action and led Saturday evening’s B Main before struggling to find grip in the last half of the race.

“I am learning so much with each and every passing lap” commented Henry from his Ohio residence. “The competition in this series is very stout and all I can do is continue to work hard with the team. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me through the year.”

After a stellar karting career filled with podiums, victories and championships, Cap Henry has begun his climb up the motorsports ladder. Taking it one step at a time, the mature 16-year-old will couple his results with his marketability with the ultimate goal of motorsports supremacy.

With a progressive weekend, Cap Henry and the Henry Motorsports Team will be back in action this Friday and Saturday with events again at Attica Raceway Park and Freemont Speedway.
