Henry Garnishes Heat WIN
24 June 2005

pic14 year old Cap continues to climb the raciing ladder as you can see from his web site. He has had a few let downs this year alos, as we tried to run a west coast series that became to much for our budget, as well as very hard to do on an artrive and drive basis against drivers that practice every week with their personal karts, as well as run the tracks we were trying to beat them on. He was however in the top 10 to 12 out of 28 when we pulled the plug on the series. As you will see in the latest news release he is now racing actual cars as well as Go-karts, and avreage 85 mph around the 1/5 mile asphalt oval he races this car on.

HMC Ltd. Driver Cap Henry is back on the winning track. Having returned from the Stars Of Karting Reno event with two top ten finishes, the young Elite Collision sponsored driver returned to the seat of his Kenyon Midget Car June 9th 2005, at the Speedrome in Indianapolis. The team had re scaled the car with veteran Crew Chief Guy Meyers before heading back to Indy, and the changes seem to do the trick. The Embroidery Unlimited driver started from the pole and led all 10 laps for his First Heat Race Win in a midget car. The young driver was not satisfied with this alone and was determined to do well in the 50 Lap Feature. He again started from the pole and lead the first 4 lap before being spun by the car running second. He was then dropped to the ail of the 14 car field. This gave the driver a chance to work on passing in traffic, not an easy thing to do on the 1/5 mile oval. Atrition and red flags also benefited G-Force driver as he was able to secure a top 5 finish in only his third start this year. The team retuns to action at Fremont Raceway Park this Sunday June 12th in a variety of differnt karting classes.
