18 year old young gun Cap Henry wrapped up his sophomore sprint car season recently with success. The talented pilot scored two victories in the 305 division, a top 15 finish in the O’Reilly All Star Circuit of Champions driving his 360 car and a first ever A-main start with the Ollie’s 360 Challenge field at Eldora Speedway, running with the likes of Kasey Kahne, Fred Rahmer, Tim Shaffer, Dale and Dave Blaney and numerous other NASCAR and Outlaw regulars.

Overall the young driver managed to average third place finishes in his heat races and top ten finishes seven times in the 305 division. The team led the points at Attica Raceway Park in the 305 division until half way through the season. Furthermore, the team was running in the top five in series points when they decided to make the move to 410 class.

2007

  Led 14 laps of the prestigious 305 Invitational, Finished 8th in points

• Attica Speedway 305 2007 Rookie of the Year
  Attica Raceway Park 13 starts making 11 A-main events, 8 Top 10’s, 2 Top 5’s, 2 Heat Race Wins. Finished 9th in points.

• Sandusky Speedway Cavalcade qualified 11th out of 25. Finished 5th, only running one event
  on asphalt in 2007.

• 15th Annual Clyde Grand Prix go kart race, 2 top 3’s, and 1 Top 5 finish.

2006

• Sandusky Speedway, Sandusky, Ohio 305 Sprint Car
  Ran 5 events finishing 22nd in points out of 55 cars. Won 2 Heat Races, and led two features.
  Finished in the top 10 4 out of 6 events run, with 2 2nd place finishes and 2 7th place finish’s.
  Did not finish 2 events due to safety issues, one being rain.

• Fremont Speedway, Fremont, Ohio 305 Sprint Car
  Made the A-main 2 out of 4 events run, with 38 to 45 cars attempting to make 22 starting spots finished 37th in points out of 55 cars.

• Attica Raceway Park, Attica, Ohio 305 Sprint Car
  Made the A-main 2 out of 3 events runs.

• 2006 Graduate Bob Bondurant 4 day Grand Prix School.

• 2006 Clyde Grand Prix Finished in the top 10 in 3 different classes.
  7th place in Adult Mixed class with overhead valve engines, 2nd flathead engine to finish.
  Finished 5th in Yamaha Kt-100 Can Class and 5th in Yamaha Pipe Class, the fastest 2 classes raced at this event.

• Numerous victories at Fremont Raceway Park Racing Medium Asphalt Oval, Yamaha Can, and 80cc Shifter in the Open Road Course Class.

• 2005 USAC Kenyon Midget Series Indianapolis Indiana.
  Led 2 events, finished top 10 three times with a heat race win only ran 6 events and still
  finished in the top 20 in points.

• 2005 Stars of Karting Series.
  Ran 5 events on the west coast in 80cc shifter class.
  Qualified top 5 1 event, finished in the top 10 in three events, and top 15 in the other 2.

• 2004 Super Karts USA GLSS 80cc Jr. Shifter Class 3rd Place.
  Great Lakes Region of Super Karts USA Podium 3 out of the last 4 events.

• 2004 Clyde Grand Prix Adult Amateur 4 Cycle Champion Finished 3rd overall in the
  Adult Yamaha Class at the same event.

  East Coast Run Off’s - 115 drivers age 13 to 18 participated from all over the Eastern U.S.
